Larry can’t pass up the chance to get inside her head, especially since prostitution is the character’s occupation in his next book. After spending the weekend together, unexpected sparks surprise both Haley and Larry. The trouble is Haley is dead-set on snowmanning the unkempt “starving artist” she met at the séance, and Larry doesn’t think he could have a real relationship with a woman with a past, so they go their separate ways. The real fun begins when they meet again and find out neither one of them were who they thought they were. Can they reignite the flame? Or will they have a snowman’s chance in hell?
Haley Monroe is a cowgirl and down to earth girl who just keeps getting screwed over by men. Snowmen they build and grow then one day they just melt and disappear leaving only one belonging to leave the girl/guy who was snowed longing for them again. With the help of her best friend she decides she needs to be the snow-woman so she can learn to identify them better. Larry is a best selling horror author who attends a seance for research. Their meet cute is funny with a seance falling to pieces with comedic dialogue and a Haley trying to pick up a man who's not her type so she can snowman him. Their connection is undeniable and kept me in the book until the end. I under stand shoes have to drop in stories, I always expect it. However there were so many shoes dropping it could have been raining shoes. If you enjoy romance with a ton of twists and turns and gut wrenching moments this is a story you should definitely check out.
